G2 Axle and Gear TJ D44 Front Axle Assembly 4.56 Ratio with Air Locker


G2 parts are made for vigorous drivers.  They originally began as a part of another company called Genuine Gear and their purpose was to make premium arts that could withstand high strength demands of the drivers of modern performance rigs.  Evolving trends are leaning more towards heavier vehicles with larger tires.  Even with the trends leaning this way, stock drive train components are just not reliable enough to handle this type of heavy duty driving.

TJ D44 Front Axle Assembly with Air Locker

These assemblies are tougher than your factory Rubicon axles.  They are packed with all of the stuff you need and they are ready to bolt right into your rig.  These axles are made from Chromoly and the U joints are genuine Dana Spicers.  They offer your choice of gear ratios and lockers and have been assembled with only top quality National seals and Timkin bearings.  This axle assembly comes complete with Dana Spicer ball joints and as such will require you to use your outer brake assemblies and steering knuckles from the model 30 front axle.

The G2 axles are built to be tougher than OE axles and as such are more equipped to handle things like the high torque that tends to be produced by the ultra-low gear vehicles of today, the increased loads that come with larger wheel and tire packages and the overall punishment that off road driving can bring.  These axles have been made to enable more efficient upgrading and come to you ready to be fitted right to your Jeep.  The chromoly (nickel and chrome) axles are heavy duty and include brand new OE style ring and pinion sets.  Everything that you will need for a safe and proper assembly is included and installation is recommended to be completed by a professional.
