Dana 44

The Dana Spicer 44 is a type of axle for vehicles.  It is made by the Dana Corporation and is extensively used by both automobile manufacturers as well as in the aftermarket.  This axle was first created back in the 1940s for both the rear and the front and it is still used for both of those applications today.  This axle has also been made to be used as an independent suspension and a beam axle for setups for both the rear and the front.  In addition to that, there are even more variations of this axle that can be found.
